Yeah, I more mean ‘early on’. As now obviously it’s a busted monster even on Psyker, since there’s now a melee talent that lets you quell on weakspot kill/get peril generation reduction on top of that, so you can more reliably get Scriers Gaze stacked up and hold it at a high damage amount for a while (while getting a nice finesse bonus for when it ends). It’s a 25 second cooldown now to, so you can cycle it a LOT better than when it was at 60 seconds that only started when the ability ended, that life was pure pain.
Same goes with Disrupt Destiny, now it’s an utter monster with it now that it actually works (picks targets around the last target you killed so you can actually stack it up and keep it stacked verses it spawning your next target in the next room over and you just never having a keystone), but before it had the target spawning issues as stated, on top of losing ALL your stacks as soon as the timer ran out, not just one.
So like, while the ceiling was largely the same, reaching and maintaining it was a LOT harder, along with not having that 10% attack speed which is always just a nice bonus. Still strong ‘back then’, but not nearly as wide spread/easy to see unless you very heavily worked for it.
