Although we all probably know this already. Lev, I feel for you, having to deal with all the people in various states of being pissed off, looking for their event rewards. Me included.
But allow me to state the obvious: An event, any event, not having progress tracking is incredibly stupid even on a good day. When the backend is also busy shítting itself to death, and the handing out of rewards is delayed for an undisclosed amount of time, and it is all sorts of bugged, not having progress tracking is phenomenally cretinous. Now a bunch of people who don’t certainly know whether they qualify are left wondering whther it’s on them or if it’s on FS.

Yeah. I have a feeling Fatshark has been juggling quite a lot getting this release out, I’m glad they did these weekend events with rewards, and I bet they’ve had some internal debate about delaying vs releasing the events given the inability to display progress. It was probably a now-or-never thing and they opted to give the community the event imperfectly rather than not at all. I got my Kerillian pose on Friday, it just appeared in inventory, so I bet a lot of players are frustrated not knowing if they get the rewards or not. Especially since the playtime tracking is only for “in-match”, so your Steam playtime discounted by whatever isn’t in-match, adding to the ambiguity. But overall I am glad they offered the event. I do prefer imperfect over not at all.
