How has it taken *this long* to make a damned Solo Mode?

To preface this, I am a console player, I don’t have access to bandaid mods and I am not willing to fork over an additional sum of cash just to be able to play with people who I actively dislike and so I have made an F.S account solely to ask this question: So, Fatshark, how has it taken you this long to make a Solo Mode? Current running complaints for this game are basically ‘make Havoc less dumb’ and ‘give us Solo Mode it’s been two years’.
