The Book of Grudges: Because Fatshark Won't Listen

being communicative only to the new things etc :sob:

meanwhile old things like qol updates, solo mode, modifiers and map selection nothing

i think if really there is nothing to say about solo mode, then it would be just good to say something like “no more info regarding solo play yet” at least it would be humanly decent cause you said something about it which is better than not saying anything at all when people are talking about it.

i guess in the end not their fault, since probably the fatshark CEO simply said to not comment about solo play and all the fatshark emplooyes then follow the order

The generally accepted advice is, “Don’t speak ill of the dead.”

I still don’t understand why they don’t just remove the two player restriction on the private match option and call it a day. You can already mmt into a map and play it alone. 4 years of complaints silenced with one hotfix.

I recommended that on my first thread and was almost lynched.

I think because that would do 2 things

  1. Be slightly more expensive to pay for individual instances for the solo mode cruisers, and as you know Fatshark hates spending money

  2. Immediately expose just how garbage the bots are. In the current system they’re usually replaced before you even notice their existence. Imagine every single person who tries to play solo finding it utterly impossible past Malice because their AI teammates can’t actually access most of the game.

If this were still vermintide era, I could believe that they would get to it eventually; like when they made bot loadouts and career priority base game. Current fatshark that ain’t happening just take the bandaid win.

That which is dead can never die

I think I have to remove ‘no scoreboard’ from the missing features list now.

Good on Fatshark for adding in a useful tool, keeping mods functional was always a pain.

Demotions still being in when they dropped Cata Nurgloth in means free bricked maps for everyone!

Can you wait until the scoreboard is somewhat useful and provides more extensive and accurate date?

Right now the picture it provides is quite distorted to say the least…

Balance patch notes from Psykanium testing.

Thunder Hammer with Thrust, all the melee damage nodes, and max stats STILL cannot one-shot a Crusher without some other buff (Martyrdom, Inex Judgement, using FotF, etc). That being said I think it stacks more consistently and stealth thammer is still somewhat viable. Just not as good as Chordclaw at anything.

Infantry las still doesn’t one-tap Scab Gunners under similar conditions. May still need to fiddle with the tree there, but it requires MMF stacks or crits to consistently work there. Might be better if I abandon the keystone for other elements, and does consistently 2 tap reapers so all’s good.

The best part was DM’ing me to tell me to only post once, but I only posted more than once because they took it down for “advertising” like wtf?

Hi, did the forum site tell you it was for advertising specifically? because on our end spam reports are generalized and while advertising is included under that category it also includes anything that could be seen as spamming such as repetitive posting, spam pinging, thread vandalism etc.

If the site’s telling you it was for advertising specifically then that would be good to know!

Yep! It said:

Your post was flagged as spam: the community feels it is an advertisement, something that is overly promotional in nature instead of being useful or relevant to the topic as expected.

Edit: Which could just be what constitutes “spam” by the forum flag system. Given I checked reporting my own post and Spam is “Advertising or Vandalism” (which still don’t apply to my post)

righto I’ll forward this on to the team thanks

I wish they had just added the scoreboard that everyone already mods into the game, but I guess it was the best compromise they could offer - which is still something.

No CoD Gunsmith… The Emperor has forsaken us:sob:

Update:

The new boss mission is…fairly solid, if somewhat annoying, on the Heresy difficulty I ran it on (remembering getting facestomped on Damnation by the Karnak twins bc nobody expected actual boss mechanics). I see people complaining about it, but I’m not sure it’s legit versus outrage at actually being expected to put in effort.

Had a blast with the new map. If Fatshark keeps this up (they won’t, but IF), it’ll be really nice to see.

Also enjoyed the lore.

Pretty much the main feedback I see is that the danger zones aren’t clear on some sections of the arena (outer edge and near the spill) and the tentacle pillars can spawn far away enough that you have no choice but to tank the hit and eat the debuff.

The random nature of the pillars definitely makes it too easy to get boned by having none spawn near you for multiple pulses in a row. Though I’d say the worst part of the fight is just how much easier and smoother it is on all fronts if you just play ranged dps instead of melee. The encounter design is just so much more hostile to melee. Doing it on vet was a cake walk compared to trying to thunder hammer the fat bastard.
