I honestly can’t think of any at all, tide games are unique.
Well, the thing is that this forum is for more dedicated advocates for Darktide & VT2. They obviously do enjoy the 40k universe. The only reason that there’s slightly more complaining is that they don’t want to see this game in the shtter, thus they complain to get things fixed, right or at least try to so it can be improved upon. They care more about it than the average Reddit user. Don’t even get me started on Reddit man… It’s vastly more toxic just in different ways. This platform is really where you can at least communicate with the Dev’s or at least the Community Manager’s to see where the problems lie. Even if they don’t get fixed it’s all out in the open, which is a good thing. Plus, it’s not really all complaining entirely, I’ve seen a bunch of fun posts. It’s a bit selective. Trust me, Reddit is far worse than this by a mile. I feel that there are a few bad eggs here, but all-in-all most people on this forum seem pretty solid in my eyes.
On Reddit all discussions go in same direction cause of the vote system
Any user that would disagree to the general assentiment would be insta down voted.
A reason why I don’t consider Reddit as a space of discussion.
oh well, hugbox reddit. post a meme and get hundreds of likes. post something useful and get a few likes. post something they don’t understand and get downvoted to the warp. like i told them once not to play on autopilot and got “but i play on autopilot! down down down”. there are some who know their stuff, and there are many who are there to click on arrows.

maybe thats because the sheep are happy within their pen as long as they got access to “easy stuff” such as dueling sword, plasma gun and other things that give em the illusion of being a wolf?

I didn’t know enough about the game to complain until at least all my characters were lvl 30, likely much longer after.
Why would these people bring up balancing?
and how could they judge the balance given their inexperience.

Hate to break it to you, but if your position can’t withstand a counterpoint or contrary opinions then it probably wasn’t a strong one to begin with.
No one will claim the forums are perfect, but you’ll rarely lack for contrary opinions. Debate is how you strengthen your arguments or refine them.
