Did you know that vermintide2 has just updated its Halloween activities? But what about the dark tide? emmmm, next month will be the second anniversary of the release of Dark Tide, and Dark Tide is getting a new story. Wow, what can I say.
I thought Dark Tide was the old game from 6 years ago and the vermintide2 was the new game. maybe, the fat sharks did prepare for the Dark tide, but they hid it too well to tell us anything.
Maybe there’s a surprise, you know? Or nothing
VT2 stuff is just a repeat, right? I can’t be bothered to verify.
But, on the positive side, the last hotfix included some code that suggests that in-game event rewards will be able to include items soon! I’m pretty excited about that! I know some folks consider that FOMO, but I think it’s better than just getting crafting mats.
It’d be a bit FOMO, but so long as it’s free and obtainable in-game rather than with insanely-priced premium currencies, it’s still an improvement.
Should have a cultist ritual that gives enemies their gas buffs at all times with glowing green eyes…basically skull of blosphorous right there, maybe with a bit more hitmass reduction.
Or they could have had Rodin come back, to subvert the reanimated twin we get to look forward to somewhat. That guy was more fun to have on actual maps.
Heh, the limited time bosses on a darkness map with stronger patrols and some silent hounds.
