Thats fits wood elf more.
High elves wouldnt stoop so low to share their opinions with mere humans. Theyre that kind of arrogant, think victorian era french aristocracy.

Sounds a bit infantile. A HE would be much more reserved than this.
actually, I tried to make him sound âsophisticatedâ . And not talking to other wonât really give him any personality at all.
Doesnt need to stop talking completely.
Just let them know on every occasion that theyre no better than cattle.
yes! You are right! And this is what I want :D. But I want the others to show him sometimes that the elves still suffer from the same trouble ( so the others wonât look that dull and are defending themselves). They are dragging him a little back to the ground of truthâŚ
Well maybe some strings I showed are too offensive or profane, but well , This character really doesnât like the idea of beeing where he is. Helping the humans is like helping certain insects in fight against others. Therefore he is annoyed all the time. And this is the reason his answers are more likely to be offensive and condescending. He is less likely to comment something on his own he is not a âblabbermouthâ
Yeah, have others mock âhis highnessâ, especially kerillian, it would be so like her.
Being reserved in your comments doesnt mean you dont speak. Also, this is not something a sophisticated person would say:
âYou call this a keep? we would rather defecate in buildings like thisâŚâ
Merely exchanging âtake a s***â with âdefecateâ does not make a comment sophisticated.
If you have a better idea , I would really like to hear it. In my opinion, in the right situation this has a good impact of showing his arrogance but maybe I am not too familiar with elven etiqutte. Tell me what you would think about
Basically he would be condescending without resorting to being vulgar. A lot of pointing out of selfish, greedy, short sighted, juvenile behaviours of younger races. Refereces to historic figures and events from hundreds of years ago, some framed in a way that implies the HE experienced them himself. A lot of âIn the grand scheme of things your existence hardly mattersâ rather than âId sh** on this, Id sh** on that, Id wipe my ass with thatâ. Things like âLook at this scupture. Theres a spark of talent here. If only the poor human had a few centuries to actually master his craftâ when talking about a masterpiece famed across the Empire.
Sorry to break out the lore part, but as no-one pointed this out I had to do it :
Character got 80% of their weapon shared between careers and thatâs not what you do with you elf here ^^
This would end up with 2 things -> A hell lot of weapon diversity, like, way too much. (You got approx 18 weapon, range and melee, on this character ^^ Bardin, which got most I think, have 13, and only 3 are career locked, you got like 16 career locked)
Leading to the second point, you have too much career locked weapon and therefore, will have an hard time looting stuff for the career you actually like. If you get a lucky chest and loot a red for a weapon you donât play, as you can equip it youâd still be happy.
With 16 locked, as you got more or less 7 weapon per career, you have more than 50% chance of looting of Red on the career you donât play. Kinda sad
Well actually I like to talk more about this rather than lore :D⌠And yes you have decent point. I wanted this character not to be too open, because this would result in rather too similar character carrers. While the 1st career has a range weapon/shields, the 2nd (swordmaster or how ever you want him to be called) has the heavy weapons and the 3rd is a casting career with one handed weapons. My idea to solve this solution: every career has itâs own loot and some are shared. How: One handed swords of the Loremaster become dual wielding weapons in the Swordmaster build, or sword and shield in the Sea Guardian profession. There are still some which are not shared like the staffs of the Loremaster or Bows or two handed swords. These can be only found if you play the profession you like or be crafted.
I think, if this would be a DLC character, diversity is really important, and these weapons shouldnât feel just like a reskin of the original characters. It might be not totally fair, but nobody said that it might be possible to have similar system for the other characters aswell
In the end itâs not a too hard problem⌠I think a bigger problem would be that nobody who plays the Elf would find a game since everybody wants to play him :D. Like I explained above, this character needs to be embeded into a bigger extension, like new careers for the orginal characters, new skins, more weapons.
During the end times the high elves were mostly dealing with Malekith, so a high elf in The Empireâs lands is a huge stretch. It wouldnât really work with the lore. If weâre gonna get new characters, expect a Brettonian or a vampire count, factions actually active in the empire during the end times.
Im sure they can come up with a scenario explaining how a lone HE got stuck in the Empire. After all, isnt it one of the staples of fantasy to have the hero end up in the most unlikely place / incredible circumstances?
Hell, even in VT1, in the bounty board missions, there were mentions of an elven diplomat stuck in Ubersreik.
Elfs have rather than a lot other factions many diplomates in the world , and try , even in this desprate times, to keep their influence. Actually I tried to make this part of the characters story, he really doesnât like to care about the problems of the humans, since his race has more problems than that. But still Tyrion send him on a mission to gain more knowledge about the Skaven. One sole warrior rather than a whole army wonât be a waste of the limited resources they have. A character like this would be much more interesting than a bretone which more or less share the same fate as the Empire Heroes.
High elves arent as arrogant as wood elves. Makes him more like glorfindel or elrond. Or maybe Tyrion from warhammer total war
They are a bit aloof.
More than aloof, theyâre definitely arrogant, but unlike the wood elves, they consider it their responsibility to protect the world, mainly against Chaos, which leads them to be occasionally more cooperative with the lesser races than the wood elves.
