Well if you can’t imagine it, you can watch streams of players doing it with all bots and no players.
Did. Can find only Cata-Solo or 4 Player-Videos (since last Patch) no 2 Player+2 Bots. The played maps are the easiest on Cata and the reason for it is simple it seems:
In Solo Matches are significantly less mobs than in games with 2 or more players. Maybe the Mob-density (especially in Hordes) increases with playercount.
Does it? That’s never been my experience. Thought mob density was based on the host’s PC. Someone correct me if I’m wrong though.
I am not 100% certain on this but host PC seems to influence horde and mob density
As for enemy amount scaling with players that’s a farse and has been said numerous times that this is not the case in V2 as far as I can remember
PS: Good comparison is PC and Console version in terms of enemy amount
Yes the PC counts and settings too. Releasing ressources for your CPU in the file user_settings.config (in appdata) with the right values, increases the difficulty (spawning density of everything).
Bad PC and settings -> most easiest runs. (often you meet cool and quiet time between hordes, with almost nothing spawning).
Highend with optimized settings -> hell runs. (almost no break time, you are attacked all along the time, at least by a insane special spawning rate).
Exactly which is partly the reason why I run on low settings with my 87k and 1080ti
Maybe that’s why people keep rage quitting my lobbies
If I remember correctly, they actually put out a patch to fix that. As you could underclock your CPU and just hold W through maps. Nothing was able to track and path find you.
Although, to be fair. I don’t think there’s much you can do if people are purposely trying to break the AI.
