Computer Specs

OS: Windows 10
Mobo: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING WIFI
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X (32) @ 4.500GHz
Total Memory: 127962Mi
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 1070

I got the same computer build as my friend. He has yet to play on this on that machine. Notably my wifi in my apartment is pretty bad with low bandwidth. I have played this with 3 others and their games have never crashed. One friend has an older intel CPU and Nvidia GPU. Uncertain about the others, though one has a laptop, so I assume intel CPU also

What I have tried

tl;dr everything I have tried settings-wise within the game still results in an eventual crash. Only biggest difference is last night it crashed more frequently than in the past throughout January.

I tried enforcing the smaller packets network setting because of my network being notably poor. Still eventually crashes.

I lowered the LOD setting to minimal, trying multiple values in between. Nothing changed, a crash would still eventually occur.

I tried lowering all the video settings to low. I tried them at “high” before. I tried “high” but lowered all the CPU affecting settings. Given they all still eventually resulted in a game crash, I raised them all back to high.

This is not game map specific, although the frequency of crashes increased dramatically for me last night versus the last time I played, which I unfortunately do not recall the time. possibly after a patch, however these crashes have occurred as long as I played the game. I thought they occurred at times i was mashing keys as input. But that probably is more indicative of higher mob counts.

It has crashed while jumping around the hub world, and in various points in different missions. Also at times after a mission was finished during the results screens.

Related

The frequency of crashes has increased severely recently, I suspect given the latest patch. However it would crash all throughout January while staying up-to-date with latest game.
