Spawn behaviour needs to be strictly improved

Just lost a run right before the boss room because a bomber threw a fire grenade into the elevator before the door even open. And when they did, guess what? The stagger from the fire made it impossible to get out before we were cooked (another stupid feature in this game, most people runs out from fires they dont get rooted in them).

This goes along with poxbursters and disablers (Trapper, Poxhounds) being able to spawn right next to you. There’s no interaction here you just take the damage/death.

And let’s not go into detail over how Fatshark the past 7 years still haven’t bothered doing anything with the “one mob spawning behind you endlessly”

If you’re gonna have bleed through on toughness for every scratch of attack. You should at least make your game more fair so your average player gets a chance to react.

Something like a minimum spawn range could do wonders. Like whichever spawn spot is closest to the player(s) gets disabled.

God damn thanks for that video, got tired of people saying “Oh so many complaints about enemies spawning out of thin air and no evidence, so it must just be a skillissue”.

I think any damage taken roots the player, so any tick/multihit attacks are a nice road to stunlock central.

on the topic of the bomber… It’s frankly ludicrous how accurate the bugger is… like, he’d make bullseye from Daredevil blush… Bombers probably could throw their grenades with spin as to fly through a number of construction girders etc. just to land right next to you…

Trappers and Poxbursters spawning out of a door directly behind you with no warning is perhaps the most annoying thing I’ve encountered from the game in this beta.

This is incredibly shitty mechanic.

Same is that you cant maintain dash/spring when charging heavy attack. Really kills off all immersion of heavy swings.

Heavies are a gamble. Some weapons have really nice sprinting heavies that either let you move while charging or give the attack a crazy amount of lunge. Others just plain suck.
