2 days ago out of no where it instantly crashes after hitting Play.

Have you made any changes or updates to your PC in this time?

Weā€™re still investigating the causes of Shader cache builder process errors. Itā€™s a shot in the dark, but I recommend to try performing a clean re-installation of Darktide, as this can sometimes help more complex issues.

This involves uninstalling Darktide as normal, and then proceeding to remove your AppData directory by:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ā€˜OKā€™
  3. Navigate to: AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
  4. Delete the entire ā€˜Darktideā€™ directory

Please be aware that by removing your AppData, you will lose any custom configurations such as keybindings. Your progress wonā€™t be impacted, as itā€™s stored on our servers.

Afterwards, you can then reinstall Darktide as normal.

Let me know how this goes.

Update.

Fresh installed Windows, update drivers & reinstalled steam etc to fix the issue

rip my internet data limit.

I was getting this same problem, came here just to let everyone know that turning off Nvidia frame generation has solved it (At least for me)

Now Iā€™m getting that too :rofl: Right before I was bout to enter the evac in the new mode.

Was working fine the other day with 2014 erros. Been playing on Linux for a while.
