Some spots in the mourningstar of interest

Here is a set of levers I found on the outside of the hub area, man, i really want to press E on them, I bet they do cool things - like making hadron dance.

there are currently only 2 areas that have anything behind the closed doors on the mourningstar, they are both elevators that are to your immediate left/right as you come out of the starting area

the obvious implication is that they are there to allow you to go to different floors on the ship - likely one for going up and one for goin down. At least that’s my guess. I hope that’s what is planned, I want to get off of the command deck.

Long time ago there was a bug i joined Power Matrix and game was spawning all joined players behind the fence and there was some place to roam, so i’ve found the Elden Ring there (looks like final event location)

That is the repair mission, the ring is actually the model for the finale -

Around the room there is a swirling orange circle - it can be seen through the windows surrounding the finale - when you hit the button to engage the cryonic rods it turns the circle white.

Personally I don’t believe it’s something that is planned, I think it was something that was planned and never completed.

Hopefully I’m wrong but I don’t believe we’ll see the hub change significantly anytime soon. The best we can hope for is maybe going to the hangar as it’s somewhat modeled already.

I figured the elevators would let you go up and down. Eventually. And the doors were possible expansion points for new vendors, game modes, or just areas of our little corner of the ship, like the bar.

I kinda figured (waaaay back at the start) that it was going to work like the Taal’s Horn Keep. You’d gain access to new areas as you level up. For instance, the first time you get called to the strategium, you would have elevator access to the first upper floor, up there where Zola walks back and forth. Later the hangar bay. And then, after 30, we’d have full elevator access and could go to the highest floor where Rannick’s off ice is.

The problem is -and if you have the free-flight mod, you probably know- is that those areas aren’t actually finished. There’s nothing up there past what you can see from below. Of course, those models all exist somewhere, for the cutscenes, so it should just be a case of removing the placeholder junk and stitching it on but it kinda feels like one of those plans that was dropped on the wayside during production and forgotten.

I would like patrols to enter and exit from the ship. Showing us different cosmetics maybe? Parading outfits around only seems fitting.

I would also like an Omnissiah area, or Machine God alter, something of significance for the Adeptus.

I was always mad that in the cutscene introducing you to Hadron you get this massive shrine full of mechanicus delicately handling a weapon, but the most you get ingame is a little strip mall kiosk.
