Ogryn Rework Feedback
I have to say that I am enjoying the Ogryn rework a lot. Its much better now that it was previously. One final gripe is that the shooters still hit too hard, I feel that the toughness damage is currently accross classes increased.
This is especially noticeable on the big man. As he does not have the speed of the zealot to spin away. I would really love if yu guys could combine the toughness hit of bull rush with the base ability, as now it seems just so serve as node to make us spend a talent there.
Really love the dodge push, thank you for that making the game and class much better. However would love to also earn aquilas and some more maps with Hive City Outskirts
I think it would also be really great to have small movement boost added to trample, as he is quite ”thick” making it easier to reach shooters that try to move out of reach.
Ogryn Weapons; 2 Handed Chain Axe, Huge Crusher, Autocannon, Bull Butcher & Shield
I really like to see the varied weapons of the Arbitres but I still will always have the soft spot for the big man, so I humbly ask you to give us a 2 Handed Chain Axe. It is very much an under utilized aspect of the ogryn, something that is fitting to his size yeah?
Smaller shield (Buckler & Bladed weapon)
The best part of VT1-2 & Darktide is the melee combat with its gory bits. I think the Ogryn will shine with that approach.
Could you please give us some alternatives to the shield with the maul, it is the most boring weapon in the game. Simply going ’bonk’ give me a blade like the relic sword(as in bladed weapon) for the bigman (ofc lorewise relic weapons are not his ’forte’). I would settle for a machete and a buckler or even just a huge 2 handed valkyrie propeller.
Love the pickaxe but not sure if the attack speed is affected when chaining it. And for the love of the Emperor, please make Thrust start just a bit earlier on the Branx, its windup is sooo sooo soo slow. Even a bit would really help, as now its a waste to take it over the 5% power on hit, this would quickly fix the problem.
Ranged Weapon; Kickback with Slug, or Grenade launcher with Slug, Harpoon, autocannon.
Kickback slug could just be a new weapon blessing / trait or a mark. Or grenade laucher that would have ”ogryn modification” that made it unrealiable.
Utility slot? GAS MASK
Since many of the characters have gasmasks I would love to have some utility with them. Considering that the Pox Gas often ruins the day, perhaps we could get a utility slot where we would have gas mask or similar filters that we could using to survive for a limited time during the ’gas attack’
Cosmetics
Love the new armors, and the penance ones, shame aquilas cannot be earned. Bought the Midshipman cap cos it was so funny, for the bigman. Hopefully we can get a midshipman title at some point. Aquilas seem awfully expensive. Could not get the colors to the docket store to buy and recolor the armors? Would make it more relevant.
Could get more cosmetic slots?
For medals or completion participation in campaigns that we can pin to the armors, would be really cool to have for the bragging rights. Would love an armored chest piece which would accumulate medals as I play.
Still great work, hope that the MTX store transitions to something more customer friendly… And less predatory.
Looking forward to playing the new class. Also would love a double xp event sometime to level my psyker which I hate playing as..
Feedback on Maps
Love many of them but there is too many
”arenas” where are my chokepoints my pitched corridor battles and so on. The train maps (assasination) are really great but the carnival is pretty meh.
If we could get less darkness and bit more light on the maps so we can see artwork would love it. Ogryn has lamp only on 1 weapon… so…
Space Craft boarding: Map?
Could we get a mission to board a suspected heretic vessel, and then disable it section by section before fighting on the bridge and escaping via emergency bailout. Would be epic to see capital ships engaging from the windows.
