- Does it work? Last time I tried it was near when it launched, and trying to use it would still have the game tell me I can’t do private games solo.
- Can I risk a ban if I use it?

The solo mod does not make you play solo in private lobbies.
It creates self hosted lobbies that do not use the regular darktide mission servers.
You can not gain any progression there.
You are free to use it.
At least that is the case for the solo mod that i know of.

Yes.
You do not get any materials. You do not gain any mission rewards and no progress towards penances.
Basically like a psykhanium version of a mission.

Dang. I was hoping to run my Ogryn solo for mats since my Psyker is for playing with my friends.

Use many more try, if you’re so inclined.
These are real missions that others cannot (in all likelihood) join.

Other players can quickplay into them, if it’s not a maelstrom.
