At first it was almost ready.
Then it wasn’t a priority.
Now it’s forgotten.

It’s more forgotten about than the commissary
Last update from staff was that it is not an active priority: there are no plans to implement it.

given the state of their servers, it’s probably an active nono for them to try.

bugger that sucks. main reason i have not come back as PUGS suck and me and mates can not get consistent time free atm.
Don’t worry I’m still actively fighting the good fight in every announcement post they make. I honestly wouldn’t be shocked to find out that Strawhat has me blocked at this point.

didnt they like officially shelf’d solo mode in a recent notice?
if we are taking that one pre launch source for solo existing it was planned to be locally hosted.
the servers are perfect for me (UK playing i think on western europe)
lot of people with issues on their upload side default to blaming the servers and it might actually be a fixable issue their end
You think you want solo, but in reality Fatshark has figured out that what you REALLY want is Havoc.

They have not officially announced/notified anything about Solo Mode.
- it’s almost ready, available at launch or shortly after in December
- we’re not quite happy with it, let us cook.
- it’s not a priority.
With the third one being repeated ad nauseum with 0 explanation as to what happened, why it’s not a priority, or when it will become one again (if ever) and only being shared in replies to topics like this one and not an official notice/announcement. Which is mainly what I’ve been fighting for: “tell us it’s not coming or tell us it is. Just tell us something.”
My theory is that they don’t want to work on it but can’t publicly announce that because it would be admitting they lied to us and that they don’t give a flying f–k about their solo fanbase, especially the ones on console.
And if your thought is, “but what about server bandwidth? Solo would just eat into that unless they make it like VT2.” my response is if that were actually a major problem, they’d have the Many More Try mod, which is the only solo mod that allows progression, taken down off of Nexus for using missions that are no longer in rotation and eating up bandwidth.
