Does anyone know if the broker code name that was found around when Arbites was detected in the (inventory/master item?) files ended up being for the dog or not?
The what was found around now?
IDK a Playable Rat Ogre sounds good but maybe be a tad hard to balance…

I’m hoping for a Ratling or Xenos but anything will be cool tbh.
I’d still rather we had a bunch of new maps but that’s not happening.

haven’t they said somewhere that there won’t be a class with different height from the humans, since they would have to change the maps for it?
anyway, a ratling sniper would not do much in the melee-centric meta if you don’t give him stupidly strong guns.
i’m not much into sniping myself (although i often end up doing this as zealot when everyone charges), but i’d like a mech soldier as something different enough from the human classes.

That was ages ago, and it’s possible that their stance on that could have changed (or the height didn’t prove such an issue in practice).
But if the other code name found recently in the files wasn’t for the dog, I’d wager it’s another normal human-sized class…I feel like I recall seeing it being tagged on some normal human cosmetics?

I would love a kroot mercenary, please Fatshark give me a xeno class! But it’s probably going to be an Imperium class related, the question is, what? It can be so many things since it doesn’t have to be a reject. Mechanicus? Hive ganger? So many choices! It’s probably going to be something that makes for a different type of gameplay like the arbitrator was focused on the “you have a pet”. We should look at V2 and what kind a gameplay type class there’s here, and that darktide doesn’t have.
Say that again, but this time think of Solo mode.

I am not sure there will be an other new class… considering how they handled the Arbitres with the total lack of new cosmetic
Its on the top of the forum my guy. There’s details about a new class coming November 11. I assume that will be the major content of the update that usually happens March-April.

Not sure I understand. The “no squats” quote was about level and gameplay design, which may still be a roadblock (we just don’t know). Last we heard about solo was that it’s not a priority, not necessarily any kind of problem/roadblock.
My guess is is its going to be a hive ganger or something along those lines

I’d love this. Double-love it if they could just use like…all the human cosmetics. 
I remember them having to resize maps for the size of Ogryn but I can’t imagine much cover that would need to be adjusted for squats…cover basically doesn’t exist and only dreg gunners and shotgunners have any noticeable spread to where their bullets might not all hit you if you’re not in dodge state. Basically add the angry shorties. Do it for their leader.
