So mods.. Help!?

I’m in a loop… I verified files >> I’ve done what the Mod Loader readme says and installed the framework and then a number of mods that have high endorsements on nexus.

I modified the mod_load_order.txt to

ui_extension
graphics_options
animation_events
settings_extension
NumericUI
barter_with_hadron :face_with_monocle:
CharWallets :face_with_monocle:
ChatBlock :face_with_monocle:
DisableScreenEffects :face_with_monocle:
loadinglore
no_skull :face_with_monocle:
pickup_notif_tweaker :face_with_monocle:
PingMonitor
player_outlines
ShowAllBuffs :face_with_monocle:
ShowEquippedInLobby :face_with_monocle:
sorted_mission_grid
SpectatorHUD :face_with_monocle:
stuff_searcher :weary:
scoreboard

Key: Possibly in wrong place - , Too Early to Tell - :face_with_monocle: , Working - , Got an Error - :weary:

I rebooted to get anti cheat to work
I booted game using “start_protected_game.exe”…
No Errors listed on right.
BUT I get backend error something about signing in.
Tried Double click “toggle_darktide_mods.bat” and It loaded mod framework on the loading screen so good right?! but get “backend error unable to sign in” which a google search tells me to verify integrity which wipes mods…

Help!

This happened to me too. Don’t boot the game with that exe. If you are using steam just launch it from there.

Well for one you should try actually reading the mod description and then following those instructions.

So yeah your load order is wrong for starters. I’m not gonna try to guess for you what other possible instructions you’ve just chosen not to read.

Edit: just checked the Nexus mods page and noticed it doesn’t actually give this advice on nexus, only on the Discord link which is poorly done by the mod author. I rescind my harsh tone, quite probably not your fault you didn’t know about the load order.

haven’t looked into any mods yet, but i immediately spot your using multiple UI mods.
easy way to create conflics

Thanks Nish… launching through steam works…

Hmm, it works in the order I put in the txt file?!.. but if it stops working will know what to try next  I’m surprised there isn’t a topic on how to install them here tbh… I did read the files but verifying I lost my list and had to unzip them all again, maybe someone could put their load order in the text box to show us which order they should be in?!

I believe the NumericUI is a mod that shows text for hp etc but UI Extension is an enabler for scoreboard… as alsozara mentioned. I dont believe theres any clashes I’ll modify the load order to say what is working so far…
