So, do we know when we are due the first actual update yet? We’ve had a few updates that where basically fixing things and adding things that should have been in the game at launch, but do we know when the first real update (i.e. new missions/maps and the new sub classes) is due to be out?
I admit I don’t exactly read all the dev posts so maybe I’ve missed something, but I don’t think I’ve seen any news on this.
We do not. No news so far. A “bigger content patch at the end of may” is all we have.

You first state there are no news, then successfully follow up by stating the news.
The posts do manage to describe the upcoming changes and give a timeline.
We got the April updates they planned. ‘First week of May’ for the penance update they haven’t listed any other tangible info on. ‘End of May’ content add, whatever its going to be. I understand feeling like you’re in the dark but there is information being provided.
Well I think they where just saying we haven’t had any specific info on what they plan to release, saying there’s a known update that we essentially know nothing about doesn’t contradict that.

Not entirely.
The early May Patch will add new penances and cosmetics as unlockables.
The late May Patch will add new (mystery) content.
And Catfish said the next Comms Link might give info on what it will be.
Fatshark updates are usually the joke.

OP asked about maps, classes, etc. So far all the big content drops have been weapons. Thus we have no concrete information.
Thd best part is that it’s Fatshark. So even when they say they have a fixed date for anything, they’re so unreliable at communicating anything amd sticking to any semblance of a timeline that we still won’t really know when the next update is.
They didn’t say there’d be new content, just a “large patch”.
It could include more content but I’m not feeling overly optimistic.

The good news is no one needs to be.
They already clarified this before the April comms, and that the penaces/cosmetics are the first of 2 updates for May. The second one being a content drop.
Must’ve just read the sizable patcht and tuned out the rest
