Skiratii no "RAD WEAPONRY"?!

We have confirmed Phosphor Blast Pistol in Skitarii Visual Design (Steam Descritpion says Phosphor “Blasters”, which is not possible i reckon due to them being on a Kastelan Weapon Shoulder mounted. Pistol yes, Phosphor Blast Carbine, gimme gimme gimme (not confirmed yet, proly wont be in the Game)

Phospor Blaster (dont see a Skitarii using that on his SHoulder, but please endulge me

Its mostly Arc Weapons which are fine for sure.

Question is, is the Skitarii limited on Weaponry like the Hive Scum or Arbites? I hope not, they have lots more Weapons to choose from unlike the other 2 DLC Classes.

So whole Palette of Arc Weapons, Phosphor Weapons and hopefully Rad Weaponry. Another thing could be that you can choose the damage type of the Weapons in the Skilltree, that would be awesome. Yeah they dont all look similar, but we could live with that right?!

Still Skitarii gonna be Epic even though i would have liked to see a Tech-Adept with Servitors of any Kind. More Weapon variety for Skitarii Fanboys still needed.

Release Date could have been right now after Skull Event. No reason not to put it out already…

I would assume that only the weapons shown are going to be present.


Rad weaponry not being introduced might make sense as you have the narrative of saving the Hive.

I admit I was surprised, after the infamous “good old plasma gun” vox intercept and all. I can see plenty of lore justifications for not putting a gun that poisons your team into the game, but still.

+1 to never letting them live down the "good ole plasma gun.’

I still believe that it came from a time before they had the green flag toward classes and had planned on selling Admech weapons on the Veteran. Phosphor and Radium in this case;

You know what’d make this data slate event actually interesting tho? Final slate shows off currently unrevealed weapon, and it turns out to be a halberd

my theory is that they pre-recorded those vox transmissions ages ago and are just dripfeeding them from an archive. whoever picked that one out thought it actually was about the plasmagun, so he thought it’d be a fun little one to release

Killing a bunch of Hivers and saving Billions however is absolutely Warhammer aswell. You dont think for real that they would give a damn about a handful of radiated Hivers

since we have Plasma already, im not surprised we dont see Plasma Caliver. Pretty sure we gonna see the Plasma already in the Game available for Skitarii

Well at least we get Phosphor and Arc Weapons to a degree. I really hope its not just Phosphor Pistol, but you know, its certainly the Case

Now Guys i really wished for Rad Weapons since its very Unique to AdMech. To be fair Phosphor and Arc are too. Still was loking forward to a Aura DoT with Radium, that would have been super neat for Melee and in general.

Maybe we get surprised and we can change damage type (fingers crossed). I see the point that the looks of the Weapons are kinda distinct though, depending on the Source of the Weapon, so its not proper Lore accurate. I only see the Galvanic Rifle bit lookalike to a Rad Jeezail. Thats the only one that could work for now. However we get a Cosmetic Pack in the Store on Release aswell, so they could actually make it happen if teh Skilltree allows it. It would be a smart move iMHO

Pretty lame but arc is already a mechanic they’ll have, along with a helper and a custom skill tree. Kinda stacked for features, though they could have an arsenal as middling as arbites (the sheer lack of melee options as that melee character makes me weep).

yeah so far skitarii looks like it’ll have fairly interesting mechanics. although i’ll say the small talent nodes i’ve seen so far all looked really boring. brittleness on electrocute, 15% damage for 8 seconds upon hitting an enemy with a dot on him. boring numbers buffs. but they seem to be content just making a set amount of talents “15% damage on using any keyboard key input for 8 seconds” slop cause all the other classes have it so the dlc ones do too

I would have liked the plasma caliver, i like the style of plasma the admech uses with the nozzle looking thing in front of the barrel and the diode on the side

Maybe the radium carbine, radium pistol, arc pistol, taser goad and plasma caliver will come later as part of a dlc weapon pack.

IF we look at arbites and hive scum,all dlc classes have plenty weapons that could still be added

Yeah i didnt mention Plasma Caliver. Its a fast shooting Plasma, with i dont know… smaller Projectiles?!

A fully automatic Plasma in my mind, would make people cry out even more than they already do :sweat_smile:

Epic indeed. As a DA Fan i certainly love Plasma, but Rad would have been extremly cool and would have given some nice synergies.

Sadly i doubt they will do a DLC Weapon Pack. One can hope for, but i doubt it.

Look they didnt even do Chaos Wastes. They did this weird Mode i proly will never touch. Roguelike Chaops Wastes would have been so bloody nice to have. I loved that mode in V2 and i love Roguelike/lite in general

DoT dmg, well thats defiently gonna be Arc and Phosphor Fire dmg for sure.

Seems like Arbites and Skitarii is gonna be the new Tag Team, with Poison DoT from Hive Scum naturally

Our goal is to save the Hive City which strongly contradicts the usage of rad weapons cuz at that point we might as well just “nuke the site from orbit”.

Save the City, not save every single Individual, again its Warhammer, they dont give a damn. Its not like the whole City gets exposed from a couple Rad Weapons or Skitarii radiating Radium around them in close proximity… lol

Well the Hive City should look like swiss cheese by now with all the shooting we did (especially with plasma).
