Since Hotfix #75 (1.8.7) - nVidia latest drivers crash game on mission exit

After the Hotfix #75 (1.8.7) was applied I would frequently crash (almost every time) when exiting a mission. Didn’t matter what kind of exit was performed be it success, fail or choosing to exit a mission the game (PC Xbox) would crash.

To resolve this, I had to roll back my nVidia drivers to GeForce Game Ready Driver - Driver Version: 572.83 (March 15th 2025) release. Note: Prior to Hotfix #75 I did not have this problem with Driver Version: 580.97 Release Date: Tue Aug 12, 2025.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. On PC with nVidia card install latest drivers
  2. Play Darktide - crash when mission ends or exit.

Platform (Required):

PC - Microsoft Store

So far it seems Patch #76 has resolved this issue. Upgraded drivers to 8/28 version and no crashes on mission exit yet.
