There is an acknowledged bug for many of the UNUSUAL behaviors they exhibit. Some of us remember the time when they could all be heard, mostly reliably, and knew they behaviors to counter them by listening for the audio cues.
This is in addition to the unfair behaviors like trapper nets going through hordes, bulwarks, crushers, yeah…super sci-fi nets. It’s probably a lore thing I’m not aware of. Some of the behaviors are downright hilarious. 360 no scope hound leaps and muty tackles…its all here. What makes me laugh is waiting for that pox burster you can hear coming out of the door…waiting…waiting…here comes a muty …he’s closer…closer…I’m gonna dodge and kill the muty…NOW the poxburster comes leaping out. The spawns will literally wait for you to get occupied and really turn your back. You can’t fool it by turning your back like your waiting…somehow it knows…probably a lore thing I don’t know about. Just a fun rant.

I still love this game and I haven’t found anything quite like this title, but these are the things that make me laugh and face palm at the same time.
