Complete 5 consecutive Auric Maelstrøm missions without dying
NOTE: not asking for carry or tryhards, thats not what i want. just want to have fun with it

thats the only Title i care about in the game. ‘‘Auric Storm Survivor’’ because i want to be cool and look dangerous EDIT- so as people have pointed out this is something that was cheesed, essentially breaking the prestige of having it, however i still wish to do the challenge, just won’t equip it when i do get it, it’s a fun challenge after all.
yeah it’s a bit cheap to seek out but the Title isn’t ‘‘Solo Queue Auric Storm Survivor’’ Speaking of, that should be a thing for an even more awesome achievement and Title.

i can do mic or not, doesn’t matter, if you wish to socialize over mic thats cool- but make sure to state this information if you do because i don’t default to mic during my normal solo queue sessions
It’s a shame cause I got mine legit. Played Ogryn for all of it, but I didn’t even know about the cheese until it was too late… I would’ve done it legit anyways though.
Alas there is more cheese if Rolling Steel can still roll in Maelstroms. There was a brief period after UL&L dropped where it could take the place of an auric maelstrom and have no modifiers, making it really easy.
The cheese has not been fixed. You still see people alt+f4 all the time in Maelstroms if they get downed.
get them 3 golden “cochones” medal from doing the twins in hardmode and there´s something to estimate about it.
as for the rest :
lvl + 500 + reject + low profile portrait and you´re usually among capable folk
by all means and enjoy the ride, knowing you did legit is something nobody can take from you and you get a good chunk of quality experience under your belt
yeah i saw, not really any point in equipping it now but i still wish to do the challenge. wouldn’t it be cool if you had a new title where you HAD to solo queue auric maelstrom as a prerequisite, it’s definitely on my wishlist!
i refuse to put frames on, i enjoy the ‘‘nobody’’ aspect. i only wanted the title because i thought it really made you somebody and i like that too, but since people always cheese it with rejoins on bot and what not i see no point anymore in having such a title equipped
i think they should make a new title and make the prerequisite solo queue only. one for auric maelstrom only and one for quick play auric, or something like that. i think that would be really cool
oh i love this! this is a great Penance! not only does it show someone dedicated with lots and lots and lots of hours, but also like you say after so many matches even if you get carried something have to stick. it would be a title of devotion and skill for sure!
but yeah, 100 or so auric maelstrom equal to roughly 60 hours (not everyone ends on the 30 min mark) so thats a good base given the amount people usually play lower difficulties.
then there´s ogryns like me where 1300+ hours is only the beginning of a wonderful journey and if i didn´t have to work full time it´d be easily quadruple that amount.
ton, something HAS to stick in terms of behavioral change for the better.
