Second event since Skulls with no aquilas

How exactly? (honest curiosity) And GP concerns only Xbox, no? (I’m absolutely not versed in GP lore.)

AFAIR they said it was a bug, so maybe the “bulling” is just a wet dream.

That said, they also say that they do listen to the community. :person_shrugging:

No, at first they specifically said it was on purpose

The thing is aquillas reward is clearly works for the game and online growth.

Not giving the thing to the community that clearly makes your game more popular is crazy.

Should it have been the same with crafting rework i wonder.

Add here the context of they gave away 14000 aquillas to xbox players.

You can’t buy a full set anyway with 500, but it attracts people still.

After a quick research, it seems to depend on the items in question. The backpacks were said early to be a bug, while the headgear seem to have gone from intended to bug:

So, at least in some case the “bulling” seems to have worked.

I actually concur with you that it probably would be a good incentive to buy more in the shop. I’m just standing in awe before the passionate outcry of so many people about such IMHO petty things. (No offense to anyone who sees this differently.)

Eh a bit? But we all know why. First HD2 showed you can be generous with your community in the modern gaming era. Second - DT mtx shop is a milking farm in a payed game.

I personaly don’t think you can make FS to show some love, it’s just a business in the end. But it seems it’s just a well working marketing tool. They should drop some flashy trailer for 500 aquilla event - LOGIN NOW.

It’s beyond crazy that people still defend terrible monetization practices by FS and put the blame on “entitled players”, when there is Warframe, a F2P game where:

  • you can get ~70% of cosmetics by paying with premium currency, which is also obtainable by trading with other players for ingame items
  • ~20% of cosmetics is obtainable only by playing the game, such as event/syndicate rewards
  • ~10% of cosmetics is real money only such as Prime Access and Tennogen (for PC)

That’s a F2P game, I am repeating. Any of this is possible in P2P game by poor little Fatshark? Must be the players who are greedy, sure.
