Sorry not very computer savvy. My monitor will go up to 1920x1200 in game but I noticed when I set it to 1920x1080 my field view actually gets larger. Is this game made to run on 1080? Or should should I stick with 1920x1200
Perhaps it would be best received in the #v2:tech tag line?
That one’s new to me; I’d imagine that when you set it to 1200, a view that’s supposed to be 1080 is stretched to fit 1200. Basically, everything just looks wider.
For some reason, when you use the 1080 mode, it accurately depicts what everything should look like for a 1080 monitor but just doesn’t know what to do with the final 120 pixels and expands your vision in order to fill in the empty space.
Dunno why that’s the case, but I think @FatsharkJulia is probably your best bet at an accurate answer 
1920x1080 is 16:9 aspect ratio.
1920x1200 is 16:10.
So the 1080 actually does have a slightly wider field of view in the horizontal direction.
