“Anti scoreboard” is not the same stance as “scoreboard promotes toxicity” stop confusing the two, or you never will have an honest discussion

I mean it does happen, it’s not super common but not exceedingly rare either, almost always from the crappiest players who lack any self-awareness or context.
E.g. See if you can guess who kept running off on the end-event of excise vault and made it an endless loop of revives near wipes. Same dude who did zero puzzles, ate all the heals and kept going down, then had the gall to talk trash when the rest of the team asked them to stop running off after he went down numerous times, “FU, I did more damage!”.
Not my scoreboard, I don’t use it, but I was provided with one (base mod).
When there’s scoreboard toxicity, a rare thing, it’s always these types so their opinion is worthless.

My dude, I’m all for the scoreboard, but medicaes used is a garbage statistic as long as it lowers a person’s overall “score” and promotes brainrot behavior. The total score is also a crap choice to add by default on the mod. Should have just copied Ratgame 2’s scoreboard as opposed to adding superfluous and irrelevant stats.

Smite is useful like 1% of a mission and there isnt anything smite does that you cant accomplish by just killing things or using a trauma staff or doing literally anything else. Also saying that damage isnt the only useful stat does not diminish the fact that smiting 100% of a mission is just about the worst thing you can do in most situations in darktide by far. You want to know whats not useful in darktide? Not learning how any of the mechanics in the game work and pressing two buttons all game doing no damage while you watch your teammates carry you throughout the entire mission. Smite is useful when dogs or pox bursters spawn in or when someone needs revived, any other time you can be using a staff to cc enemies and kill them at the same time.
Taking time to smite enemies is almost always not worth your time. Its so Hilarious people think saying damage isnt the only useful stat in this game somehow justifies some horrible player smiting the entire mission because theyre horrible at the game and need carried by an ability. dps is king in this game and why would you ever smite 7 crushers when you can just play with a trauma staff and cc them AND kill them at the same time. Why would you ever smite a horde when you can use a purgatus staff or an illisi force sword or assail or anything else? I dont think smites bad because i think dps is the only thing that matters in this game i think smites bad because in 99% of situations it is bad and it creates terrible habits in players.
I love when I see a smite psyker in a hi shock mission smiting a single trapper or a single mutant or a horde of 20 zombies as opposed to ya know killing them. Or how about the horrible smite psykers who go down the moment they have any amount of enemies in front and behind them because you cant smite 360 degrees and they have horrible positioning and lack any and all awareness whatsoever. I also dont think noobs should be in hi shock missions getting carried by an ability while they watch everyone else play the game. People also shouldnt be able to hi jack games with one ability and make it so that noone gets to engage with any of the mechanics in the game because they decide to smite the entire mission but yet here we are. Smite is such a noob trap in this game you cant even pop using it. So not only can you turn off every mechanic in the game when you use it but you also dont have to manage peril either which is hilarious to be quite honest.
