Since whatever happened 10/5, the loading icon in the lower right of the screen spins for a second (a few seconds after restart and verifying files) before crashing and closing. It seems to be in a window while it tries to do so instead of the fullscreen I tell it to be in.

I had zero problems after the class rework until yesterday. I have clean installed my drivers three times, stopped all startup applications, completely removed the game and reinstalled twice, set thread count to 1 and messed with every setting I could. So needless to say, I don’t believe it’s my computer.

I have a Ryzen 7 3800x 8 core and a 3070 Ti. 32gb ram.

Sounds like it isn’t just me but I hope you guys figure this out.

fixed it (copy paste from my own thread)

open RUN by pressing windows key + R
type in %appdata%
navigate to fatshark and open the folder
delete darktide folder completely
launch game
it should pop up and tell you that you meet minimum requirements (see photo attached)
I expected the same crash as usual but it worked fine

This is a known crash and will be addressed in one of our upcoming patches, apologies.
