Revive

It could be cool to revive your teammates with an item like in L4D2.

I don’t think you should be capable of revive yourself like in SM2 with the guardian relic.

And I’m not sure if the equipment slot should be changed for crates or stimms. But it could be a fun mechanic.

the between stretches where you need to hike to your dead random teammates are about the only juice I’m running on anymore with like 1.25 maps and a bunch of goofy nobrain weapons I haven’t felt like putting much time into (not like you need any) for content in the last year. also fundamentally I think it was one of the worst elements of L4D2 even with the tiny point penalty for using it, but I liked VS more (and I’m sure most players did too). kinda made you go ‘that’s dumb’ when you nailed someone right as the horde died off while the other specials are in respawn and instead of being able to pressure they’d just do the zappy and keep going like no actual game state change occurred. like it didn’t encourage blitzing and ignoring enemies enough already! but that is another game.

The only way you’re gonna get to revive a team mate with one of those things is if it’s pre-wired, and you’ve got your finger ready on “re-fry”, because by god, it’s almost Olympian the speed at which a dying player hits “quit game” at that final breath.

I’m astounded at times. Even The Cult haven’t had as many cast members as I’ve had in some games.

Maybe they have a “press to quit” button.
I am sure that there is a mod for that.
