First of all, this post is solely a request for deletion; I am not looking to debate the matter, so no reply is necessary.
A similar thread was posted before, but a full week has passed since the MOD was released and it still has not been taken down. I’m therefore issuing this second notice and deletion request.
For testing purposes, I used the MOD myself for about two days. It is clearly a wall‑hack MOD and severely disrupts game balance. Although it does not show outlines, it feels almost identical to having the Veteran’s Executioner’s Stance active at all times. With this MOD, you can see enemies through walls, as well as trappers and dogs that haven’t even spawned yet but are waiting behind walls (and you can shoot them through the walls with a Boltgun).
Unlike Spidey Sense, threatening disablers are labelled, so it’s virtually impossible to miss them. During the Blackout modifier, the screenshots speak for themselves, further explanation isn’t needed.
In a healthy MODding environment, this should not be left unchecked. It needs to be removed as soon as possible.
It’s not the first one of its kind, it won’t be the last. It falls well within FS’s modding “policy” though it does go a little bit extra past the 2 most popular streamer-normalized ESP mods by adding text, it seems the author didn’t even feel the need to keep up the pretense and went full labels.
So, if the text labels were just color-coded HP bars it would be OK?
I saw a mod that tells you to dodge and warns you when specials are about to hit, like just make a mod to let the game play for you, seriously y’all don’t need THAT much help, just hurting your own skill ceiling.
Call me elitist (although I’d call it being a purist) but I feel that way about all gameplay mods. It’s not dark souls and doesn’t need artificial crutches.
I can understand the UI/hub/QOL (outside of missions) but they should be in the vanilla game anyway.
Yeah ton of Streamers/YTers use that too. Its just ridicilous. Even had someone recently like a week or two ago straight up post an actual Cheat in here and i encountered, even tho rarely but nonetheless, people using Aim Assist and they are free to do so because Game doesn’t even have an AC and for everything else can just use Cheaty Mods and then make up some excuses for it why its not Cheating.
They really need to implement some QoL Mods into the base Game and then ban and not allow any other Mod and implement an Anti Cheat.
Im all for the vanilla “intended” experience. The bigger question to me is; does FS even know its own intentions?
Still, retoricals aside, A PTR were these mods can be reviewed along with other changes before they hit live would be nice. Hopefully FS’ plate isnt too full at this buffet.
Nah they didn’t want to get involved with sanctioning mods this time around, this is why it’s the crapfest wild west it is, it’s highly unlikely they’ll ever return to that model in DT. They made the mistake of trusting that the community would behave itself, clearly that faith was misplaced.
Can you imagine removing just the 2 top the cheaty edit: ESP mods?
If you thought people lost their guano when DS and PG super duper early rough balancing draft was leaked, imagine the blowback when the all the little cheat mod users got their crutches taken away lol.

I’m honestly surprised all the consolers haven’t made a bigger stink in that style. At this point just give the consolers at least one extra wound to ever so slightly make up for the disparity Hel throw in a 4th curio slot for them too.
nah sometimes the game doesn’t play sound queues properly so its totally fine to make an impromptu always active customizable radar and pre empt enemies through terrain. or whatever else cope excuses you need to siphon the already low difficulty out to feel better about yourself and your abilities. honestly the main reason to not use those mods is how terrible they look, just ugly prompts and crap on screen all game. but for THE EDGE some people actually play that way lmfao the state
nah its definitely the spam of enemies making audio worse, like things not playing because the audio queue is only so large. but there are like twice as many problems from the terrible design of enemy spam than just not hearing sounds. reel in the player power so the spawns can go down.
