Remove yellow highlighting from rampaging enemies on mobs in havoc

FOR THE LOVE OF THE SWEET EMPEROR AND HOLY TERRA ITSELF!

Please get rid of the yellow highlighting (“rampaging enemies”?) that the mobs get in Havoc, it looks ridiculous and cartoon’ish at havoc 25+ and it is immersion breaking.

Given the mobs yellow glowing eyes (like you did with tox gas) so the game feels great again!

same, when they brought red heads for taunt i was put out of immersion already.

now colored coronas around enemies scream doom glory kill/console quick time cheapsht and “gamey” in your face rather than being swarmed by well designed nurgle infected fighting for your very skin.

some uniform pattern would work better in my book like different shoulder colors or something, yeah glowing eyes or hey, drooling ooze from their new mutations wounds or just bile.

harder to spot from a mile, sure.
but 2 seconds later they’re in your face anyways and you whack em just the same.

not like you can segregate or herd em into different clusters anyway.

like you cant unstir milk from coffee its a mess 2 seconds in…

The sole idea of Havoc throwing everything at you already once breaks the immersion of you being a reject doing a janitor job inn Aroma

I don’t think this is a big issue as long as it stays on Havoc, it helps distinguish targets gameplay wise

okay, but i really dont engage them differently much since its a clusterfkk all messed together.

so no matter what color the flock of gunners for example has tagged onto, it needs to go as a priority.

yes they react somewhat differently, doesnt change their rank in the rock paper scissors hierarchy much though.

maybe i’ll mod it out come the option, i know what radius my taunt works, see em engage me exclusively, wallop em all the same anyways :rofl:

i did suggest they just give them glowing yellow eyes (just like they did for the mobs that pass through tox gas).

overall, the issue is that it looks terrible, takes so much away from the “dark” art design of the game. it’s a sad direction to have taken artistically.

I always laugh when i see someone say they want all the havoc modifiers in maelstrom and on the auric board cuz i dont want any of that crap there. For the love of god Keep havoc modifiers in havoc. Nobody wants that crap in other missions and visually its terrible and especially when you combine it with pox gas or fog or darkness. Visually the screen gets way too cluttered and it genuinely looks horrible.

I think Rituals (if fixed) and Moebian 21st could be added and fitting as Auric modifiers

I cant stand hex bound daemon hosts and I dont see them fixing them anytime soon theyre horribly implemented. Also auric 21st id just kinda neither here nor there for me I dont really care about beefed up mobs. The hex bound hosts though cant stand them. Oh look heres some cultists around a host oh wait theirs another one 70 meters to the right of this area and we cant get to both of them cuz theirs 30 elites and specialists spawning in and now were wiping cuz there was no way to get to the other host and the bar was filling so fast we were screwed before we even knew it. I was in a havoc the other day and we walked up to a host and only when we got close to it did the other bar pop up and there was no way to get to both of them. Easily the worst modifier in havoc in my eyes. Ahh yes cultists around 4 corners with 40 armored enemies between us and them.

You went on a rant when I said “if fixed”, those issues you’re mentioning are Bugs

I dont want anything in havoc added to the base game and i dont care about moebian 21st cuz they dont do anything for me gameplay wise. Anytime that event came around I just didnt care. Also even if they fix the hex bound hosts I hate them and dont want them on the auric board. So not only do we have havoc which further splits up the playerbase now what we can do is start to bleed over havoc into the auric board, yeah no lets never do that ever for any reason. If people want to play with havoc modifiers they can just play havoc. We dont need any of that in the base game or maelstrom. Why on earth would we want the horrible havoc modifiers to bleed over into the base game? Havoc can stay right where it is.
