Rat Ogre Slam Range

I don’t know if it’s a bug or a feature, but I’m gonna report it anyway since I managed to record it.
Rat ogre’s slam has bigger range than it visually seems.
You know that, I know that, everyone knows that, but I sincerely hope it’s not intended.

P.S. A single gunner is bigger threat than multiple chaos warriors, berserkers, horde and several warpfire throwers to bots. Because bots :sob:

What’s your FOV setting? In graphics menu. Maybe you should check this.

This is a side effect of playing with a high FOV. I can tell from the video that you’re playing on about 100. This will make attacks seem as though they have a longer range than they do. The base FOV is 65 and hit boxes are “intended” to be correct at 65 FOV.

My FOV is 100 indeed, 65 in unbearable. Makes sence from that perspective.
I guess, now this thread isn’t about roger’s slam, but about bots being dumb again.

FoV is absolutely a factor. However, it’s more complicated than that.

The actual slam hitbox (a Roger has several slams, one for each arm and one for both at the same time) on a one-arm slam is much larger than the animation would indicate.
