Calling it the Tome of Smite. A slow to charge non-spammable ranged magic attack.
Appearance wise it’s the same as the Skull Splitter and Tome except you are not holding the hammer (at first). Mechanically similar where you hold left mouse to charge the glowing lines of the book (just like the heavy attack of the hammer and book), but when this one fills up you then get a glowing gold hammer in your other hand that when you release the left mouse button you throw and it goes straight till it hits something. No arching mess, just flys straight because “magic”.
Kills with it add to your Fury despite not being near you, and it procs Smite even if you are not in Righteous Fury, hence the name Tome of Smite. If you use it while you are in Righteous Fury the hammer could either charge faster or do more Smite damage? That way when you have Righteous up but no enemies near you you don’t feel as bad for swapping to your ranged weapon.
Special action, you whack the enemy in front of you over the head with the book causing low damage but knock-back and stagger. And right mouse lets you block with the book, but it has low stamina so its more of a last resort action.
Ammo wise I think having it work similar to Krillian’s Moon-bow would be good. With the charge time to attack for each throw and the few attacks you can do in a row with the “ammo pool” before having to let it refill means it’s not a weapon you can spam into a horde but one used for being able to at least attack Rattling Gunners and Wizards hiding across the map.
