Random Drops for DLC weapons?

Hey Folks,

I want to ask if ALL WEAPONS from all or specific DLCs can drop in legend Emperor Vaults? On Reddit it says that it cannot → you must melt 5 reds → get 5 red dust → improve the DLC weapon of your choice… The post is from 2022 and maybe outdated. Can you help me out please?

If you buy dlc you get a blueprint for the weapon which you can craft,
no dlc purchase changes chest drops in any way at all. With or without DLC only vanilla weapons will ever drop.

@Fairreferences, this was changed with the progression rework update. As long as you meet the criteria to unlock a weapon, then DLC weapons can now be obtained from chests.

Thanks for the reply. I want to share some thoughts. I actually DO NOT own Winds of Magic DLC but I have like 30 emperor vaults. When I buy the DLC and finished the mission to obtain the blueprints… Is there a possibility that I can get a random red drop of the weapons from Winds of Magic in one of those 30 emperor vaults which I farmed BEFORE I bought the DLC?

@Fairreferences, yep! if you open your chests once a DLC is owned and you have unlocked the weapon blueprints, then there will be a chance to earn the DLC weapons from your existing chests :slight_smile:
