I now have all the functions, RTX, DLSS, FX etc etc etc. Disabled. Worker Treads set to 1 and test that with the option.
It’s just unbelievable that they didn’t get the bug fixed from the Tech Beta Weekend. During that time I tested The First Ascendant BEta for a week and in Ultra Setting with 1 Crash. So I highly doubt it’s my system and won’t go through any of the steps to help self fix. 30 years of experience has shown that it usually turns out worse and then you end up reinstalling Windows and the problem persists, that it is a code error in the game that you as a user simply can not get fixed.
I may have found the error why the game rnd Crasht. In the Nvidia graphics option is an AMD option that is activated by the game. Fidelity FX environment masking. This is an AMD function which should be disabled for Geforce cards if you have already disabled FX options. I have now disabled this and got amazing improvement. Crash I had so far no more stood 2 std in the ship around. How that looks in the missions I see the same.
Adding my own information to the pile. I crash mid mission or cutscenes mostly. Reducing thread count to 1 resolves this, but makes the game more difficult to run. Testing has been done, anything over 2 will crash the game intermittantly.
