QUESTION: How do you get a maxed out weapon with desired traits once you hit level 30?

I’m level 30 now. I have a few purple weapons that are nice enough, but i want my weapons to be more optimized since they have a sub-optimal power rating and currently have the wrong perks and traits.

We don’t have the ability to fix our weapons up since crafting is out of order currently.

Ok cool… Guess i have no means to progress my weapons beyond shop RNG… So how can i go about getting my hands on a weapon that has the max possible base power rating? In VT2 i could just craft something rated 300 and then upgrade it to orange.

Why do i not have the ability to customize my weapons? I can increase their rarity to gold but that’s all i can do. It is beyond frustrating to not be able to actually have control over the power level and traits of my weapons and trinkets.

It feels like i’m playing a beta still, where are the progression systems that are basically required to tailor our weapons for our final builds for classes?

Does anyone know if the “maximum” base power level for weapons is intended to keep inflating so it’s basically a treadmill forever for farming strong gear?

It seems the base power level cap right now is 380.

Honestly, the itemization system isn’t great right now. All the crafting features that are needed to give a weapon really good blessings and perks aren’t in yet, and hunting out the perfect base weapon to start tinkering with is pure luck, which kind of puts a stink on the whole system, because why would you want to waste heaps of resources upgrading a less than perfect weapon?

The fact that weapon stats are capped at 80% also kind of implies that there is a whole other category of weapons or means of upgrading them further that hasn’t even been hinted at yet, so again, that kind of puts a stink on the whole system because why work hard on something when you know that there will be even better weapons later?

You wait until crafting is released

I have seen it go as high as 478. A friend mentioned 530. It would be nice to know and the likelihood and whether it spawns in the shop or just weekly acquisitions. It would be nice if there was a crafting option to increase the power level but I doubt it.

setup moonlight game streaming or similar and login every hour from outside to check the shop

Just so you know rating of weapons doesn’t work like power in VT2. Lower rating weapons can do more damage than higer rating weapons sometimes depending from a lot of factors. Currently there is no way to have a weapon with all stats on 100% i doubt it will ever be… game would become more boring, but i wish there could be a way to re arrange the value of the stats.

Ive got an orange chain sword at 448 ( bought off sir melk for 2800 currency things ), an orange helbore MKII at 438 ( used crafting matts to bring it from blue to orange )and that full auto las at like…440 ( got it as an end of round random weapon award ) I cant get them any higher as of right now, im hoping with the addition of the full crafting ill be able too.

You buy whites and greens from the shop with good rolls then cross your fingers and pray as you consecrate them.

That’d definitely boost the rating above 380.

You sacrifice a goat on the next blood moon in a field beneath a willow tree at midnight when the wind blows from the east in the hope you’ll get a weapon in the RNG shop that has good base stats you can upgrade.

Then when Tzeentch laughs in your face you cave in and buy it from their godawful cash shop where you’ll have 300 Aquillas left over and a vague idea of the actual money you spent.

There are no weapons in the cash shop. It’s all cosmetics.
