Quality of Life: List of Requests

That’s literally changing the gameplay.

are you playing the UI? or the droprates of items?

You are giving previously restricted weapons to all the classes. Literally changing the gameplay.

Consider this: why is sharing blessings among all the player characters OK, but common weapons for regular humans are not treated this way?

I suppose the reason might be two fold: on one hand it’s the design intention that players don’t get to have access to all their weapons across the characters, which is a simple pretense to leverage more play time from the players.

On the other hand, which would make more sense from the perspective of lore and/or setting - there is no defined (to the players) relationship between the player characters, or between NPCs that interact with player equipment. Why would one reject hand -another reject- their sanctioned weapon? There is no answer to that question really - you can make one up, but that’s about it.

But again, why are blessings shared then, if there is nothing in common between the rejects of one player? It’s not consistent a rule, and frankly it would be nice to have the commonly shared weapons accessible across all the classes, even if at a cost of say, earnable in-game currency.

@Edit
also on that note, this may even be a better example - why are currencies currently shared amongst the players’ characters? It makes no sense that the precious weapons of war have no means of being shared across multiple rejects, again, other than the first argument I brought up.

No, I am asking for possiblity to move weapons that are already “drawn” / made and not class restricted. I’m not asking for a bolter for Psyker for crying out loud.

I haven’t made this evident in my previous reply, although that’s the way I understood it - no class restricted weapons should be shareable this way, unless they would be shared with a different player character of the same class.

2 different systems.
Global resources, like the blessings/diamantine/plasteel, are stored account-wide.
Gear, on the other hand, is character based.

It still wouldn’t be QoL: it would just make it easier to acquire gear, which is gamechanging.
Would it be gamebreaking? No.

Seems like this tiny little quarrel is needed to justify the fact that OP listed a number of cosmetic requests calling them QoL.

I don’t really care he wants those things, I just don’t want people to think those are what really makes a game more user friendly.

come off it

Right - I see what you mean. Thanks for your answer.

I do agree that these are not QoL changes by any means - it’s merely gameplay suggestions that might have reinforce the OP’s experience with the game, but that’s about it. Nevertheless, waging war over semantics is not how things typically can move forward, i.e., relay feedback to the devs, if there’s nothing for you to contribute in this matter.

At least there’s a couple semi-standardized names. For example, Agripinaa weapons tend to be slower RoF higher damage. Columnus tends to be high rate of fire and ammo, but lower damage. Graia a bit in the middle.

But I couldn’t tell you the difference between a duelling sword mk 4, 6, or 9. I’m not even sure those are the 3 numbers. Nor can I tell, at a glance, which sword does what.

The most egregious example of this being the heavy sword that Zealot gets, where 1 version is great, 1 version is mid at best, and 1 version is hot garbage. And I’m pretty sure the 9 is the good version but, you know…

It’s…really bad.
