The laspistol shoots very quickly and it’s annoying to spam left click when using it. Would be great if holding down left click just kept firing, as it does with autopistol etc. (There’s a mod which does this, but imo this should be part of the base game, to keep laspistol enjoyers from all getting carpal tunnel.)

Just as there is the revolver (which is kinda like a single shot shredder, in that it uses hard ammo), I agree there should be an automatic Las hand gun. Perhaps not the one that is currently offered but a Mk ## that is an auto version.

This topic comes up every week/month and it always puzzles me why people argue against it. They’re probably too young to know what a repeat stress injury feels like.
There is no reason for any game to induce feelings of pain in discomfort in the people trying to play them “normally”. Pro-Starcraft players giving themselves carpal tunnel in an effort to perform 500 actions a minute is one thing, but we’re just trying to have fun here.
There is a mod called “FullAuto” which makes all single fire and burst fire weapons become autofire.
