I was playing on the xbox pass thing I guess the microsoft store? Its the xbox app but for PC. and I really enjoyed the game so I wanted to show my support and purchase the game. I bought the game on steam because I am not a fan of the xbox live account I was under the assumption that the saves would be transferable considering they are the same platform but that is not the point just disappointing.
My problem is I made a purchase with Aquilas on my xbox live (On PC not an actuall xbox) and I really want my purchase to be transferred. Is their any way I can get that transferd or did I screw myself by buying the game and not just playing it on the subscription.
Just a correction here, they are NOT the same platform. I dont blame you for assuming they are and I think cross-platform play and saves should be normalised.
One is xbox via the PC, one is Steam. Its a blurry line that shouldnt really be there.
well it is a pc game downloaded on my pc the only difference i thought was I got in the xbox live subscription i was not streaming it but it was downloaded on my pc
I know, but its thru the xbox live service, which is an xbox platform, not a PC platform as such.
As I say, the line is blurry Im also unhappy about it.
I hope in the near future we can force microsoft and sony to make crossplay normal and easy.
gotchya yeah i get what your saying but their are alot games that support cross platform saves everything from war frame to the division, destiny mqn even assassins creed games save your progress cross platform. and im talking about from ps5 to PC. Sorry Im just frustrated i dont even care too much about the save but I spent money on items let me take thoese at least I Refused to buy an xbox just because of stuff like this.
There are games Im cut off from, Vermintide 2 being one of them, because I bought the DLC on the PS4 before I got a new PC recently and now its kinda hard to go back to the PC version where I have none of the DLC characters or levels or winds of magic etc.
