PSA for Nvidia drivers 576.88

Issue Description (Required):

Do not update your drivers to 576.88 (released beginning of July) unless you absolutely need them to play other games.
I was fine on 576.80 on Darktide, but as soon as I updated to 576.88, I started experiencing SEVERE occasionnal stuttering in Darktide no matter what game mode, that shader compiling could not account for. I’m talking about 0.2 second-long screen freezes.
I rolled my drivers back to 576.80 and this problem immediately went away.

I rolled my Nvidia drivers back to 576.80 and any stuttering issues immediately went away.

thats why i stick with my drivers until a newer, more “important” game dictates them.

since there’s no other game and my caps stay stable at 144fps… what need would i have :man_shrugging:
