Just because the issue is rare doesn’t make it less of an issue.
That’s absolutely idiotic. You not liking his playstyle/weapons have NOTHING to do with fact that there is issue with itemization system (visual/display bug) that has negative effect on itemization progression since it affects fundamelntal part of new update and in-game system.
Nobody cares what you like or not, you are insignificant. But bug is real and so it needs to be reported and fixed.

2 shots is twice worse than 1, just understand this.
It is even worse than that.
If you can 1 shot, you need effectively no time on target and can immediately do something else.
With 2 shots to kill, you have to keep looking at the enemy for some time.
I mean higher than 2x efficiency, since when this become min-maxing? Dude is delusional.
I can get a bunch of shots in the time it takes a revolver to shoot twice with many other guns, this is a problem you chose.
You can get whatever you want. Like proving how 2 shots are as good as 1 and how good players can run with a pogo stick and still be good.
You mean you can hold the fire button and get literally more shots out? Or you can kill two targets slightly apart faster with a lasgun than going click-aim-click with a pistol?
Because the first is a pointless argument, and the second just total nonsense. For whatever level your aim is at, it’s clearly quicker to get two one-tap-kills than two multi-hit-kills.
Don’t forget that revolver can kill through your Ogryn pal. Or you can kill two with only one shot.
Plasma is also good but it’s more than a weapon it’s a play style.

Seriously, this is ridiculous.
Pissing away hours and hours of time, by buying weapons, which then get ruined by randomly changing stats…
The fix is about making guns at least 379. It specifically states that these wobbly numbers are a known issue.
The problem is basically that these percents are calculated on the raw numbers, and when you change specs the rounding also changes.
But if they use these percentages for calculations (those you can see when inspecting weapon like dodge limit) instead of raw numbers here comes trouble.
Is that your case?
That does not explain the case, where one number went up by 2 and one went down by 2.
I only see 66>67, 75>74. Where are ±2?

It is completely pointless, serves no purpose and only leads to disappointment and misunderstandings.
I have a theory that their smallest raw stat step, when 4 stats are 80, cannot be rounded up to 65/75 specifically. It’s like you can’t divide 3 by 2 as you’ll be getting 1 and 2 when rounded up.
Just a theory. I know for sure 4x80 and 59/60/61 is possible, for 65/75 idk, not really interested but it’s a pity that they chose this representation model, it’s flawed designwise.
UPDATE: The big question is how small this step is, because seeing your stats jumps I would assume it’s pretty big and my theory I wrote above might be correct. But if it’s small then in theory two weapons with visually same stat distribution will have a bit different attack numbers. By a bit I mean really really small difference.

OK I spoke to the team and they said it looks like this is one of the remaining known issues we had in the hotfix today. It can lead to numbers fluctuating 1% or so when empowering.
- Incorrect Visual Rounding of Weapon Stats
- On uncommon occasions when looking at a weapon card, the total value of the potential stats distribution shown might add up to 1% higher or lower than the maximum (380).
- This is only a visual rounding issue, as the actual stats total will always effectively be 380 for every weapon.
How about the one that showed stats with a sum of 380 and went down from 76 to 74?
It was before the hotfix, but still. That is not a rounding error. A rounding error (from rounding a decimal) can not account for a difference of more than 1 within the same number.
What the hell?
I will triple check with the team and see what they say.
If it was before the hotfix, then that was the other known issue about stats not displaying correctly on some weapons and it was visual only. The rounding error was also a known issue at the time of the patch coming out.
After the hotfix, the rounding error remained.
I am going to get extra confirmation. But full transparency, I’m already 2 hours past end of day (and the devs are three hours past their end of day) so I’ll be replying in the morning.
