I have the disposable income and i am simply not gonna do it. I just bought the actual game of rogue trader instead.
I get the feeling that most people would lose their minds at the very idea of non-serious skins, but Iâd genuinely consider buying a âbadly painted miniatureâ skin for basically any class.

Sadly WH40k fanbase is infamous of throwin away their money at everything. âBoxes of shameâ didnât came out of nothing. GW knows for years how to milk fanboys of 40k. Itâs not that hardâŚ
40k from GW is literally hobby for whales. Go and tell professional painters how much GW paints cost per ml and see their reaction
Yeah TBH itâs really hard for me to believe they make more money overall going this route. I do have a good enough income to justify buying some premium cosmetics but it just seems insane to spend on them when you think about what else you could be getting in the gaming space for that money instead. As has already been pointed out I could be buying pretty large games with heaps of entertainment value for the cost of like 1-2 skin packs.
Who the hell looks at these prices and thinks âyeah thatâs reasonable value for the costâ. I just donât get it. If they were all like half the price I probably would have spent significantly more money on them in bits and pieces across the last year.
I never think twice about getting a DRG cosmetic DLC. I get so many different permutations of outfits, weapon shells and colours/patterns to play around with it feels delightful to engage with. The polar opposite of this.
