Pre-Launch Steam Rating = 78%, Post-Launch Steam Rating = 49%

That would have been way better than them silently dropping the road map they made for Vermintide 2 then never mentioning dedicated servers ever again.

I don’t know if it’s a language thing or cultural thing, or what it is.

I do a lot of community engagement as a consultant hired for various public infrastructure projects. People are smart (and all too often are not given the benefit of the doubt). People know when something doesn’t smell right or add up. Trying to spin away the issue or the truth never goes well in the end. Being honest and transparent, listening, and acknowledging that people’s voices are heard is like community engagement 101. From there, just try to set expectations and be communicative about the rational for why things are as they are. Most people will understand. They may not like it, but they’ll probably stop cursing your name if they understand the position you’re in.

Disagree, it’s the consumers fault for growing tolerant of nonviable MVPs

Both.

Jesus Christ. That’s by the far the most nihilist thing I’ve read on this forum and that’s saying something all things considered. Let’s not bring real life politics into this discussion, yeah. It rarely leads to anything insightful and always devolves into uncivilized bickering. I’ve yet to see anyone ever change their minds about such things. After all, people only care about their “truths”, others be damned.

Let’s keep the discussion focused on the critique of video games, Fatshark, and Darktide - we don’t need to take the discussion to real life politics.

Thank you.

I mean, the game has no end game. No reason to run damnation as there is no rewards, no purple or above in shop after 30. No XP sink. No way to know what is going to happen per mission reward wise, no scoreboards, forced to run T1 to “speedrun” challenges on multiple toons, no shared loot among characters, rotation RNG base gameplay and shop.

The art team did an insane job. The sound team did an insane job. The dev team for gameplay did an insane job. The overall design team did a p!ss poor job for replayability.

And 4 classes vs VT2. no crafting except half assed with the excuse they yanked it out late in development. This game should have released in early access in the state it is.

Definitely my last game that Ill be supporting TinySardine for sure. And they can shove their predatory shop so far up their ass that daddy Tencent will cough them out.

It’s not nihilist. This world has a purpose and life is great. But that said, much of humanity is dull and uninspiring.

But sure, let’s drop it.

Back to Darktide then.
Darktide is great. Praise the heavens and Fatshark.

I disagree. You just dismissed the actual endgame. Being able to clear Damnation without breaking a sweat is the endgame.
You don’t need an XP sink, either, but sure it would be nice if getting +max lvl ups awarded extra items or such.
Shared loot is unnecessary but QoL. Mission rewards occasionally occure and even more occasionally it’s an orange weapon.
Half your complaints are absolutely contrived, the other is bickering for the sake of bickering. Stop looking at meaningless graphs sliding from the left to the right and try to enjoy the game itself.

does it have a cash shop with fangs?
