I have a screenshot of my Ogryn being the last alive player being stunned by a Poxhound with all three other players needing to be rescued. Despite the fact that I cannot be rescued because all other players were already needed to be rescued, an ever increasing tide of enemies just watched as the Poxhound staggered me infinitely down to 1 HP. It did not end the mission, and instead we all needed to leave the match, resulting in a loss of rewards.
The reason for this is that Bomber and Flamer fire can actually knock dogs off of you, along with some other environmental stuff. Niche, but it’s saved runs of mine before. On the other hand, only another player can pick you up from a trapper net.
If you are hounded at 1HP and max corruption, you will eventually die.
also fire from barrels or flaming grenades etc do work just to add another
i wish that also tox grenade from tox bomber could do this but for some reasons when it explodes, it doesnt knock back the doggo
I mean… fair. But in that case, spawn a bomber/flamer and just kill me. While it wasn’t a long time, maybe 3-5 mins, my whole squad just watched my health slowly drop until eventually it hit 1 with max corruption. Then, we waited. Minutes of waiting feel so long when you’re just waiting for a fail state you aren’t even sure exists. At a certain point, we just concluded it was a bug and left. And if waiting for a bomber/flamer is the only solution, that sounds like a bit of an oversight in the situation I was in.
