Last Standing Player vs Dogs

Would it be fair to let the last-standing player get away from the Dog’s grasp instead of going from full health to zero in a very slow and painful way?

It’s so much easier to dodge Trapper than Dog.

Dunno about the other classes, but Ogryns at least have a chance. The dog only disables you for a set amount of time, NOT until you die. It’s something like two minutes, after which the dog will detach on its own. Since Ogryns have the largest health pools, they tend to be the most capable of making it through that.

Nah. Just work more on hitreg issues and this should be fine in my view.

IIRC they tried already, then rolled the changes back and never returned to it.

Like when the Mutie couldn’t catch anyone.

Dogs are much more manageable these days. But i mean weapon noregs. In theory you can slap dogs away but due to noregs its quire unreliable.

That was hilarious. They were just giving everyone shoulder bumps.

Ogryn’s giant hitboxes make it reliable enough for me to dab on dogs when last alive. Its some human melees that feel off, like my favorite catachan dagger that will not always stop a leap with a light attack even if it connects. Mutants are more annoying when you teleport into its arms after it missed you and you instantly get sniped or tossed down a drop or into fire. I find the dog mod more obnoxious because you can easily die in get up animations, regular dogs are nbd minus a few melee attacks not staggering.
