Bolt pistol would also be cool. However I unfortunately think it’s going to be awhile before we start to see anything else cool added to the game.

Got me thinking though a Sniper Elite game as an Vindicare Assassin would be amazing
Also since some weapons that pretty much always have had pistol + sword combo, like chain sword and power sword can’t do that, I doubt Powerfist will be able to. Also might ruin game balance a bit.

Yeah would love to las pistol and chainsword like a true Guardsmen, or Plasma Pistol and Power Sword if I’m feeling fancy.

It’s a cool idea I hope it gets in at some point. The bolt pistol especially. They could have a smaller clip slightly less damage but better fast reload animation.
I was also hoping for long las myself one day with a proper scope but these all sound like Vet sub classes to me though and I think it would be better if they added something for the ogryn and psyker first.
Lots of people playing vet and zealot not so many playing psyker and ogryn. Probably would be better for the game to do the ogryn and psyker before vet and zealot.

No I’m not saying in this game, just as a seperate sniper game like Sniper Elite would be cool. Especially if you could use some of the crazy ammunition and wall bang a guy through like 3 different walls.

Death Cult Assassin would be a cool melee blender class. Could have some limited ranged capability with throwing knives/darts like slayer Bardin.
I really hope FS decides to move away from all the characters being prison conscripts at some point. Feels like it’s gonna end up pigeonholing them into really samey subclasses unless they really open up the possibilities after lvl 30.
DCA would be so fun as a melee blender. 2H power sword or dual power swords or power knife would all make excellent class weapons. You could even have fun ranged weapons like you say with throwing knives etc. You could also have cossbows and needle rifles/pistols as anti-special weapons. Poisoned weapons could be a blast. I imagine it’d be something like kerillian shade but with all the flair of 40k.
Interestingly, at least insofar as deathcults go, they would fit within the current “scum” theme. While often hired for their value they are also often not exactly well liked by the law. Perhaps their ritualistic emperor worship killing was of the wrong person. etc. Them and Arbites are within the “scum” radius while something like Sisters of Battle would have to be a 30+ class.

yeh just kidding and that is cptn pike. It’s how I imagined ravenor to be in the story except his head isnt sticking out the top iirc.
He could get a charging attack like ogryn and ram people. Except with less shouting

More likely: he takes over a gunner and mows down the gunner’s former allies …
But than… that is actually what Eisenhorn is able to do in Tabletop + having Cherubael the Demonhost fighting for him …
