Absolutely not. Majority of people advocating for scoreboard on these forums are disgustingly toxic players looking for avenues to justify their contempt for those they consider lesser. We shouldn’t be enabling that.
Here, exhibit one. Notice the amount of likes on this post, which is absolutely enormous given the size of this forum. All this ‘personal performance’ is just gaslighting, if you’ve been here for long enough you know perfectly well those people will stop hiding their actual views on others the moment they feel they are in the majority - as is the case here.
I’m not gonna bring the other highly upvoted posts from that discussion since those would need the entire context provided as well, but if you want you can go and take a look at those yourself. The level of derangement and contempt on display rises with every post.
Obviously, not all people who want scoreboard want it for that, and outside of the forums we’re on right now it might be even the opposite with personal performance being the actual genuine reason. But we’re not outside these forums, and I think most people who actually want it for valid reasons would understand the potential harm here. Unfortunately, this is why we can’t have nice things.
