Um, akshually… Wouldn’t it be a relatively high skill floor?

let’s agree that we shouldnt bring the words skill and arbites together at all XD
; . ;
they were not doing this on new havoc
If ogr so strong, why i get eated by dogs?
Clearly needs a buff to match Arby’s
Could this be the mystical secret that upgrades Damnation missions to Auric Maelstrom halfway through the mission? The Director gets a favorable dice roll, gets to spawn in everything at once. #NurglesBlessings
only that good ol squid face aint dreaming this time, his “goons” are day dreaming instead of heretic clearing
and that with a class that should auto clear whole missions.
dont even know about that, testing is one thing.
having the “verdict” pass over into dev-decisions is another.
seems some suit had
and
drooled at the perspective
like “we can always fix it later, sell the stuff first” approach and judging from the lobbies right now he wasnt “wrong” sadly ![]()
I think some powercreep stems from Fatshark not balancing the game often enough.
For example, when Fatshark gets around to buffing a weapon, and they happen to over-buff it, they don’t immediately tone it down the next week. They leave it over-buffed (e.g. overpowered) for 1-2 years. ![]()
When something is left overpowered for so long, people grow accustomed to it. They start asking that all other weapons should be brought up to its level. I can understand that.
If Fatshark then chooses to nerf the overpowered weapon 1-2 years too late, people start protesting. People start leaving bad reviews.
I really believe some powercreep could have been prevented if Fatshark didn’t leave stuff overpowered for so long. ![]()
TL;DR: If you gave me chocolate for 2 years, I’d want chocolate for the rest of my life. ![]()
I’m friends with two Playtesters, and I can safely say that Darktide would be much better off if Fatshark listened to both of them more often. They’ve never breached any NDAs, but I’ve discussed Darktide’s Balancing with both of them. I can’t speak for the other Playtesters, but those two? Their heads are screwed on too well for them to be responsible for these oversights in Darktide’s Balancing.
Some of the playtesters told that FS don’t listen much, even when there are some crucial problems and testers tell them it will cause drama.
FS probably just use them for bugs searching and minor tweaks mainly.
stuff like that makes me salty bout Fatshark because there are only two options:
Granted, i dont know how bad the financial situation over there in Stockholm actually is. But imagine Darktide had launched in a somewhat decent state instead of… wth that launch was…
Maybe Fatshark would not have to sell pay to win powercreep classes with dElUxE eDiTiOn for that quick cash flow
They are. FS is just extremely lucky some dude find a formula for Dark Messiah+L4D mix. And also warhammer ip. If a competitor will arrive (extremely doubtfull) FS is probably will be cooked.
Side systems, QoL features, technical state, etc, was poor in all three tide games, as if they learn nothing.
“Fatshark quality” is a meme for a reason. Most tides vets i know have sadomasochistic relationships with FS.
The only one series that also can reproduce weighty melee with great impact feel is Dying Light, but DL2 is extremely mid. And well it’s not a pve session game, but it could be interesting if Techland will be able to create L4D alike game (preferably not about zombies)
And we lovehate it!!! ![]()
Yes disablers was his weakness but the rock could one-shot all of them.
That’s because ogryn mains back then was gigachads and everyone else was rashun sized snivellers💪
hey, no fair, if anything i put on quality meat ![]()
thats the part why i if offered honestly wouldnt do it.
poor chaps must be close to cassandra complex by now and i know perfectly well how fast i go into “hulk-smash” rage mode when i:
know what will happen
explain why it’ll happen
have both examples and evidence how it’ll happen
but the partner in the conversation goes lalalala
so having that in my nr1 lovegame i guess i’d be on a prison ship very soon ![]()
It isn’t. Here’s the best image that I could find showing what the correct placement would look like on a Lasgun:
You see the issue? He’s gripping the Bayonet underneath the forend, it’s not affixed to the lug.
that thing below would hit the muzzle break on the torso before the blade was even half way in.
some tree hugging hippy sh!t right here, i’d serate the blade and dip it into
to give the recipient a better

That is surprisingly on-brand for a follower of Nurgle. ![]()
grandfather provides chili cheeseburger, it’d be a shame to waste its results ![]()

Wasn’t this mistake also present with the Darktide miniatures?
