Please do something with weekly quests about melee/ranget kills

They’ve dialed back the GaaS design BS in places because it was harming more than helping, mostly in components of the gear economy. In-game currencies were once siloed, if you recall. Likewise, the restrictions around weapon attribute locks have been eased, the mourningstar’s vendors reorganised and the effort required for weekly tasks dramatically reduced. I don’t remember if blessings were ever siloed, but I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that they fall into this group as well.

Cosmetics are shared because they only work on other characters of the same class.

3 months at a time, would be my guess. That’s their original timeline for new character releases.

I don’t bother with the quests. If I complete them on my way, that’s fair enough but I never use the currency I gain from it.

I’m currently chronically out, and I even did not buy at least one almost perfect weapon in the past month, so for those who took a break between patch 0 and 12 melk bucks are still valuable.
That said, the “kill X” are on the easier side. Reliably done, the only annoyance stems from the fact that there seem to be way more dregs than scabs to go around, and I think there should be a task to kill poxwalkers, as well.

I was referring to the cheap things like picture frames.

Some things are about selling the cosmetics. I don’t mind that. But some Melk tasks are like MMORPGs from the 2000s - e.g. “go collect 10 bat wings”. :roll_eyes:

Oh for sure. They could definitely be more interesting than they are.

I’m not sure though, I think there’s an argument to be made that they should be things you can just do by playing the game.
