Dear Fat Shark why do we only get 5550 exp for completing Havok lvl 40?
We can complite Auric Maelstorm and get 10455-20000+ exp per mission. But Havoc is much harder. It’s late game content and earnable exp should be the highest.
All players that i know are using mods so we all know what levels everyone have. I have 3150 hours in Darktide. It’s always good to have some noticeable progression. I don’t think it’s to hard to chandge earnable expirience numberce for Havoc!
I really hope that developers would see this post and make their old playerbase happier! FOR ATOMA!
I mean I don’t think they care that much about things that only have any meaning for mod users but also should be a 5 second change and can’t see any harm in it so why not?

When i finally noticed that doing a regular heresy mission gathered me more XP for my Truelvl number-go-up hunt, it cemented not dealing with the perils of playing Havoc, party finder promposals chiefly among them.
Havoc should not give the highest xp possible/most money/any achievements. This is a game mode which is designed to bash your head against the toughest stuff the Devs can imagine. A challenge mode for people who want to be challenged. For all the other riffraff one has five difficulties of quick play to choose from.
Because then people would try to grind exp in havoc. Which frankly is a bad idea and would spoil their evening and many others evenings. We already had the same issue with the highest loot being damnation games. A quick search will give lots of threads.
The reason the level cap has stayed at 30 is simply because the devs don’t feel there’s any need to raise it. All character progression elements are completed at level 30, so there’s no point in going beyond that. Havoc isn’t really a mode designed for leveling in the first place, and the fact that you can’t even see it without mods suggests they believe there’s no meaning in granting extra experience. If the level cap were raised above 30, then maybe there’d be some potential—but realistically, that’s not going to happen.
Most go for Auric (which requires a level 30 character anyways) so it’s not a situation where people could win anything by grinding on Havoc other than true level rights
Also notice how your example brings actual loot? Meanwhile this is just xp which would be worthless for everyone who is already playing Havoc
Make XP gain highest on havoc and you will have ppl grinding true lvl all sticking to havoc. They a) might not be up to the task and b) will probably start whining every time a mission does not succeed. Then they will flood the forum and demand havoc to be easier. “Because I am entitled to the highest exp”.
Granted it would be nice to get top level exp for the hardest content but I consider it a pretty smart move of Fatshark to not give it.

“Level grinders” no one gaf really. Like I’m not trying to be hostile, but realistically no one really gaf about those who grind levels (I didn’t even know that was a thing, I’ve never seen anything like that in my life)

We had so many people coming to the forums and saying Havoc is unfair. What did people do here? Laugh at them, and it’s gonna be the same
What’s a real issue, for the game, to have Havoc give more xp?
Are we fr saying “It’s gonna go bad because [Insert extreme minority that don’t affect the Game in any shape of form] believe they’re entitled to more XP even when they’re already past level 30”?
