Sorry to hear this Broombell, looking at the log, I can see a whole bunch of dropped packets, but this doesn’t tell us why unfortunately. Are you using a wireless or wired connection?

That was gonna be my first question @broombell

Even if your connection is amazing wifi is not recommended unless you have no choice :sob:

Also what is your download/upload speed?
If you have a bad connection, even wired connections can be a bit ropy on Tide games :slightly_frowning_face:

Do you have other devices connected to the network?
Each device will take up some bandwidth, even when not being actively used.

Lastly, have you tried doing some dreaded port-forwarding?
This can sometimes, but not always, help.

It’s a wired connection with a desktop PC and two phones by wifi.
I have 500 mb download and 400 mb upload.

I understand this isn’t always an option, but are you able to connect your PC to a mobile hotspot - only for a short period - to see if the issues persist whilst under another connection?

Mobile hotspot and tethering has never worked with the PC because the connection was always too slow and weak to even start steam…

I do not think there is a problem with darktide. Coincidently I think there is just a problem with the internet that just started happening.
The ISP provider could not detect and packet loss or interference but I downloaded the program “Net uptime monitor” and was able to log 5 second internet outages.
We have requested for a technician visit. That should be the start to fixing the problem.
