People who are showing as offline can’t be blocked.
I just had a griefer wipe our game, we were already down a man cause he wasn’t helping, then he ran up to a daemonhost and left, so that it would aggro onto another player instead, which caused that person to die and as a consequence we wiped.
However I can’t block him cause he’s showing as offline, thus for some reason you don’t allow me to block him, even though he’s right there in the “previous missions” overview…
Guys, he was just a new player! Stop being so toxic, bro! Maybe it was you who is the problem?
/s I agree, it’s annoying. You also can’t block if you’re offline in Steam, you have to go online for that.
That being said, does anyone know how blocking players work with “custom” lobbies for Havoc? Griefers and leavers from Auric queue have moved on to Havoc and I am confident that Ii’ve been matched with the same guy who I blocked earlier.
Yea I checked his steam profile name so I’d remember that, he’s still in the previous missions overview under that name, but as he’s still offline I still can’t block him.
I’m sure you can imagine I’m not going to check everyday if people on my “I hate these people list” (lol) are online and I can block them yet.
Ideally I’d block them right there and then, so that I can move on and forget, but also not have to deal with them ever again.
I’m not sure about havoc, but you’re right in that you’re still getting matched with people you blocked, the block prompt says it’s also prevent you being put on the same hub as the blocked people, but I’ve on multiple occasions ran into people that are blocked on the hub, I know because it says the name as “You are blocking this player”.
So essentially the blocking feature is only working partially / occasionally.
